FAQ

When to order and send Save the Dates and Wedding Invitations, information on postage and more!

When should we send our Save the Dates?
I recommend sending your Save the Dates 6-12 months in advance.  Consider sending on the advance side if you plan on having an out of state Wedding or will have a lot of out of state guests.  It is also good to plan earlier if you are having your wedding on a Thursday or Friday to allow your guests more time to take the day out of work, if needed.
When should we order our Save the Dates?
Processing/Printing time for Save the Dates takes 2-3 weeks from when your design is finalize.  This does not include the designing process.  If you like one of my designs that already exist or know exactly what you want, the designing stage won't take more than a few days.  If you are undecided or open to ideas, the designing process may take more time to narrow the final design down.   I would recommend allowing an additional month for the designing process.
When should we send our Wedding Invitations?
I recommend sending your Wedding Invitations 2 months in advance with an RSVP date 1 month in advance.
When should we order our Wedding Invitations?
Processing/Printing takes 4-6 weeks for Wedding Invitation Suites from when your design is finalized.  This does not include the designing process.  Invitations should be ordered 4-9 months in advance.    If you like one of my designs that already exist or know exactly what you want, the designing stage won't take more than a couple of weeks, allowing for the 4 month in advance timeline.  If you are undecided or open to ideas, the designing process will take more time to narrow the final design down.  It is important to allow this time to create your dream suite.

Please keep in mind, it is important to first confirm the exact start time of your ceremony with your venue prior to printing.  We can still work on the design months in advance and fill in final details, such as time, right before printing.
How Many Save the Dates/Invitations should I order?
Keep in mind it is one per household.  I do recommend ordering an additional per household if there are any members 18+ residing in the same household.  I also recommend ordering a few additional as backups and keepsakes such as one for yourself to keep and for your photographer/videographer to capture the day of your Wedding.
 Do you provide postage?
I do not.  You will need to provide one stamp per invitation and an additional stamp per RSVP card if requesting guests return their RSVPs via mail.

If you are adding anything to your Save the Date or Wedding Invitation Suite such as a wax seal, ribbon or wooden magnet, you will have to use the Purple Butterfly "Non machinable" stamp.
Do you mail my invitations to my guests?
I do not.  I will provide you everything besides postage to assemble your invitations and mail yourself directly.
Will my invitation suites come pre-assembled?
They will not.  They will come in multiple pieces for you to put together.  For an additional cost, I can pack each suite for you.
Can I add my wedding website to my Save the Dates/Wedding Invitations.
Absolutely!  I can print the link and create a QR code using your website link provided.
